South Central Health & Safety Mining Conference

The South Central Mining Conference draws from most of the mining community in the Midwest and Southwest, with have a passion for bringing together mine owners, managers, contractors, educators and government regulators to share pertinent mining information. The South Central Joint Mine Health and Safety Conference was established in 1983 as a partnership between the US Department of Labor, Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), State mine safety and health educational institutions and agencies, and the mining industry.
