This purpose of this course is to provide facility staff with the knowledge about the issues increasingly relied upon by private attorneys seeking to file actions against providers for elder abuse and other tort claims. Also, with the increasing scrutiny by a variety of government program integrity contractors, this program will educate staff about the issues relied upon by private parties and government prosecutors seeking to explore possible actions under the federal false claims act.
