KPA Compliance Consultant Honored for Achievement & Dedication to Managing Hazardous Materials For Fourth Consecutive Year

Westminster, Colo. – August 29, 2023 – A KPA safety and compliance consultant was honored by the Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals (AHMP) for her work and commitment to hazardous materials safety. Glorianna Reeser, REM, CSRP, CHMM, CSP, a KPA Senior Risk Management Consultant received the Distinguished Service Recognition Award for a fourth consecutive year. The Distinguished Service Recognition Awardees must have achieved at least seven of 17 criteria, like publishing articles, speaking at events, or serving in leadership roles.

“Having worked at KPA for over 15 years, Glorianna has established herself as a leader and a go-to resource within the organization, with her clients and her profession,” said Mike Tanguay, KPA District Manager. “She demonstrates an extraordinary commitment to environment, health, and safety and working with her is always a pleasure.”

Among her accomplishments from the last year, Ms. Reeser demonstrated a high level of expertise. She authored articles and blogs about the latest safety and compliance trends in fall protection, automotive body shop safety, and proper attire, as well as training. Within her state of Ohio, she served as the current Past President of the Central Ohio Certified Hazardous Materials Managers, as well as an active member of the Ohio BWC Safety Congress Planning Committee, a member of the Grove City Environmental Sustainability Committee, and served as a member appointed by Governor DeWine, of the Ohio EPA Compliance Advisory Panel.

“She doesn’t just come through for an inspection and give us a report about what needs to be changed. On nearly every item, she has helpful suggestions on what we can do and how we can do it…[For example] There are labels we’re required to have on our oil dispensing guns that indicate the type of oil being dispensed…She helped me find a vendor online that sells plastic labels that clip right onto the oil line and are as permanent as we needed. If it wasn’t for her suggestion and her help, I would have never found them,” said John Lehman, Assistant Service Director, Walker Auto Group. “Whenever she visits or we talk, her level of professionalism is exemplary. She’s a credit to KPA.”

Ms. Reeser is among KPA’s elite team of environment, health, and safety (EHS) risk management consultants who work with clients auditing workplace conditions and safety programs, leading on-site EHS compliance training and safety committee meetings, and assisting with the management, tracking, and reporting of EHS issues.
