This general awareness training for employees and managers covers types of workplace violence, warning signs to look out for, and how to respond to workplace violence situations, including active shooter response. It includes New York state specific requirements, such as the employer’s role, plan requirements, training, documents for employees, and silent response buttons.
NOTE: For retail companies with less than 49 employees, this training should be completed upon hire and then again every two years. For companies of 50 or more employees, it should be retaken every year.
