Lafayette, Colo. – November 19, 2020 – KPA’s EHS software for brokers’ clients, Risk Management Center, saw a 39% increase in the number of compliance training courses employees completed from January to September 2020. As the Coronavirus pandemic altered the way many companies do business, workplace safety and compliance training took the spotlight and saw increased usage in the Risk Management Center.
Insureds Increase Compliance Training in Response to COVID-19
Among the top courses completed was the “COVID-19 – General Awareness” training. Since it was released in April, the course was completed more than 20,000 times. It was among the top five courses completed from May to August. The other most completed training courses include:
- Anti-Harassment Training
- Driver Safety
- Fire Extinguisher Safety
- Hazard Communication Awareness
- Personal Protective Equipment Awareness
- Slip, Trip, and Fall Prevention
A closer look at the Risk Management Center data shows more than 20,000 additional courses were completed in September than in January of 2020. Previously, KPA reported that more than 650,000 sessions took place in the Risk Management Center during the first half of 2020.
