Survey Finds Some Dealers Open to FTC’s Proposal for Auto Sales Regulations

KPA F&I District Manager, Ryan Daly, spoke with Automotive News about the findings of a new dealership survey looking at the different aspects and implications of the Federal Trade Commission’s proposal for automotive sales regulations.

The Dealer Sentiment survey from Cox Automotive found that dealerships are open to some ideas and changes that FTC has outlined in its proposed Motor Vehicle Trade Regulation Rule. Although Daly commented that more dealers are already incorporating some of the proposed forms and practices, he was surprised by the number of dealerships that aren’t aware at all of the proposal.
