Women in Safety: Stats & Safety Considerations for Today’s Workforce

The month of March marks a host of observances focused on women, be it International Women’s Day, Women in Construction Week, or Women’s History Month. It’s a great time to focus on women in the workplace and the impact safety programs have on keeping women out of harm’s way. We’ve collected a host of data points to reflect the state of women’s workplace safety.

Hat tip to KPA health and safety consultant Marian Kochin, who pulled together these data points as an internal training presentation for her peers on the consulting team. Such great data – it would be a disservice not to share with all of our readers.

Stay tuned for a deeper dive on the impacts of PPE and Ergonomics on women in the workplace – the data she’s pulled together is fascinating.
