Keeping your workplace safe is serious business, but thankfully we have music to keep us in good spirits! Take a listen and read about KPA’s playlist – focused on safety and awareness of the hazards you encounter as a Safety Professional!
As a Safety Professional, it’s crucial to always be:
“Taking care of business (every day)
Taking care of business (every way)
I’ve been taking care of business (it’s all mine)
Taking care of business and working overtime, work out”
Working overtime to keep employees safe and happy is part of KPA’s DNA.
We asked KPA customers over in the KPA Connect community what songs they would add to a safety-inspired playlist. They had some great suggestions! Here are KPA’s top 50 songs about the challenges and thrills of workplace safety!
Let’s jam out and take care of business.
Here are our favorite safety songs.
“We Didn’t Start the Fire”- Billy Joel
Accidents happen. As Joel says,
“We didn’t start the fire; it was always burning, since the world’s been turning.”
KPA can help put out those fires – or better yet, make sure they don’t happen in the first place. Lean on audit and inspection tools to ensure the conditions are as safe as can be. And, god forbid, someone did start the fire, your incident management and OSHA reporting tools can help make sure it never happens again. Pair this technology with KPA’s training and expert consulting, and keep the fires from growing or help stop them from ever starting.
“Keep the world turning” while staying safe. Billy Joel would approve!
“Footloose”- Kenny Loggins
This song is about working towards a goal. Loggins wants to break free from his monotonous job and wants to take advantage of the joys in dance.
Similar to the joys of following this kind of passion, KPA’s software helps build that culture of safety and eliminates the monotony of manual safety programs (we’re looking at you, spreadsheets!) Working can sound a little more like Loggins in “Footloose” when employees are safe and are working in line with regulations. With safety and compliance software, employers can also “cut footloose” with the joy of knowing their employees are safe.
Side note, you’ve got all your slip trip and fall hazards documented and cleared up, right? You don’t want any budding Kevin Bacons to file Workers’ Comp claims.
“Don’t Stop Believing”- Journey
As Journey says, “Don’t stop believin’, hold on to that feelin,” which is ingrained into KPA’s mission. Continuous effort, awareness, and holding onto that feeling of safety is KPA’s primary mission.
Dashboards and reporting help you demonstrate all the reasons your company should believe. Measuring and demonstrating improvement removes the need for people to “trust you on this one.”
With expert consulting, EHS software, and online training, KPA keeps customers “believing” in a safer and more profitable tomorrow. With Journey’s electric guitar riffs keeping you excited, there’s no limit to how much you can get done listening to this playlist.
Safety is a nuanced and diverse business, and so are the songs that go with it.
With soul, rock, country, and hip-hop, the playlist embodies KPA’s commitment to provide diverse and flexible options to help your business remain safe and stay compliant.
