KPA Launches Healthy Workplaces Program to Keep Dealerships Safe and Productive

Lafayette, Colo. – March 3, 2022 – According to the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA), auto dealerships continue to grapple with a 46% turnover rate and dropping employee levels. To help improve employee retention and workplace culture, KPA today announces the launch of its Healthy Workplaces Program

The Healthy Workplaces Program gives dealerships the training, tools, and content they need to foster a healthy, safe, and productive workplace. Dealers will have access to a monthly schedule of topics and accompanying content to address with workers. The program includes 25 online training courses covering a range of topics from personal protective equipment and aerosol transmissible disease programs to healthy aging and mental health.

“Employee turnover continues to affect the entire country, but automotive dealerships are getting hit especially hard,” said Chris Fanning, KPA President and Chief Executive Officer. “Employees increasingly expect their employer to provide a variety of health and safety resources – from physical to mental and emotional well-being. KPA’s Healthy Workplaces Program is a holistic resource for dealerships to help them build a healthy, supportive, and safe work environment for their staff.”

KPA’s Healthy Workplaces Program provides four primary benefits for dealerships:

  1. Improve employee retention: Employees who feel valued and supported become more engaged at work and are less likely to leave. The Healthy Workplaces Program includes the training tools and content for dealers to foster a healthier and more supportive work environment.
  2. Reduce absenteeism: Dealers can use training courses like Mental Health or Staying Healthy Through Cold and Flu Season to have structured conversations with employees about a healthier workplace – and ultimately reduce absenteeism.
  3. Eliminate wellness point solution costs: Instead of managing a health and safety program with several disparate platforms, KPA’s Healthy Workplace Program is already part of an in-depth training library that spans environment, health and safety training, Sales finance and insurance (F&I), and human resource-related topics.
  4. COVID-19 awareness and compliance: Dealers get access to customized content and training that addresses coronavirus requirements, like sample infectious disease control policies and state-specific training courses.

Healthy Workplaces is part of KPA’s award-winning compliance training programs and comprehensive suite of workplace and workforce management software and services. With an online and mobile learning library of over 400 topics, KPA’s training courses are created to help companies reinforce employee comprehension, improve performance, and increase compliance and safety.
